The Gunners raided Stamford Bridge for the versatile threat as manager Mikel Arteta sought to replace Granit Xhaka in June 2023. Chelsea accepted Arsenal’s offer of an initial £62.5m plus £5m in future add-ons for Havertz. He also joined the Gunners with a five-year contract.
