If the operation to breach the border of the Russian Federation in the Belgorod and Kursk regions by Russian volunteers continues at such a pace, Putin will have to redeploy troops from the front line, states the deputy commander of the Freedom of Russia Legion (FRL) for military-civil cooperation under the call sign Caesar.

Answering the question of whether Putin needs to withdraw forces from the battlefield in Ukraine to contain the raid, Caesar has noted significant losses among the occupiers.

"I don't know how long our operation will continue. At the moment, in a week and a half, we have sent one and a half thousand to the hospital and the grave. We know that the group (Russian army - Ed.) in this area consisted of up to 30 thousand people," says the deputy commander of FRL.

According to him, it is clear that only half of this number are actually engaged in combat. The rest are involved in logistics, supply, repairs, etc.

"If the operation continues at this pace for another few weeks, then he (Putin - Ed.) will have to redeploy troops there anyway to strengthen his group," emphasizes Caesar.

What is known about the volunteers' raid

On March 12, it became known about the breach of the Russian border by fighters of the Freedom of Russia Legion, Russian Volunteer Corps, and the Siberian Battalion, who are fighting on the side of Ukraine.

These volunteer battalions entered the Kursk and Belgorod regions, where they continue to engage in combat, accompanied by strikes on military targets of the occupiers. Recently, the insurgents have published a considerable list of occupier losses.

In addition, recently, Ichkeria volunteers also joined the fighters. Meanwhile, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine says that Russian operations will not end anytime soon.

The local authorities understand this as well. After a week of fighting, they practically decided to evacuate the population in the Belgorod region.
