Nicole Kidman makes rare comments about motherhood as she strips down to lingerie for shoot

Nicole Kidman stunned in her latest racy magazine shoot and even spoke about motherhood.

The Australian actress, 56, tends to keep a low profile when she's not schmoozing with Hollywood A-listers on the red carpet. However, she oozed confidence in new photos in which she strips down to her Dolce & Gabbana bra and knickers

Sporting an elegant black silk jacket, the Eyes Wide Shut star looked confidently at the camera and flashed her long legs, which were clad in black knee-high stockings and held up by suspenders. Nicole also wore a black headscarf in the shot as well as a pair of long black gloves and a designer gold watch.

In another shot taken from Elle's 2024 impact issue, the Expats star sported a long white silk dress with an oversized collar offset with black tights. She also dropped jaws in a strapless jumpsuit, which she teamed with a pair of leather gloves.

In the accompanying interview Nicole said her happy place in life comes from the fulfilment she gets from relationships. "I have a very full life with people that I love," she gushed. "I'm raising daughters. I'm a wife, I'm a best friend. I'm a sister, I'm an aunt. I have deeply intimate relationships with people. And that, to me, is the meaning of life—and then taking care of what we leave behind, who we leave behind and how we do that, and our sense of respect for that."

Nicole has been married to musician Keith Urban for seventeen years after the couple tied the knot in the St. Patrick's Estate in the beachy Manly suburb of Sydney, Australia, in 2006. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sunday Rose, in 2008, followed by her younger sister, Faith Margaret, in 2010.

The actress became a first-time mother in 1993, when she and her then-husband Tom Cruise adopted their daughter Bella. A few years later, the pair welcomed son Connor into their family. Though the pair split in 2001, Nicole told Elle in 2008 the former couple's kids were raised "amidst a lot of love." She said: "They are generous, kind and hardworking. And these are traits that I love to see in my children."

The Big Little Liars star has spoken candidly about her fertility struggles after her split from Top Gun star, Tom, telling Marie Claire Australia in 2021 that she always wanted a big family. "I would've loved 10 kids," she admitted. "I love mothering, I love kids: They're quirky, funny and unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way."

While Nicole has mainly kept her kids out of the spotlight, she has shared a few anecdotes about her family life over the years. Her two younger daughters even popped up — albeit virtually — alongside their famous mother at the 2021 Golden Globes.
