Police investigating multiple burglaries in Mortimer Common

Thames Valley Police is investigating a spate of burglaries reported over the past two days.

The four cases occurred in Mortimer Common and witnessed offenders breaking into properties to steal machinery.

One burglary reportedly occurred between 10am on Sunday (March 17) and 7.20am yesterday (March 18) at The Avenue.

Offender/s gained access to an outbuilding and stole garden machinery.

Another offence in the same area occurred between 6pm on Sunday and 10.30am on Monday.

Offender/s gained access to a garden shed by cutting off the padlock, from which they stole a chainsaw.

A similar incident occurred between 1pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday.

Offender/s gained access to a garden shed and stole two hedge trimmers, a leaf blower, a long-reach hedge trimmer and a long-reach chainsaw.

And the most recent offence occurred at The Street between 2.30am and 2.50am yesterday (Monday).

Offender/s gained access to a garden shed by breaking the locks.
