Each international fixture Tottenham Hotspur players will be involved in

Tottenham Hotspur will not kick a ball in the Premier League now until the end of the month with a two week international break disrupting play.

Spurs go into the break on the back of a dismal defeat away to Fulham having recently picked up some strong momentum in the race for the top four.

A number of Ange Postecoglou’s men have already left Hotspur Way to meet up with their national sides.

The Spurs News has taken a dive into all of the international fixtures which will involve Tottenham players over the next week or so.

Heung-min Son South Korea schedule

South Korea and Tottenham captain Heung-min Son will once again meet up with his national side following their Asian Cup heartbreak.

It was a tournament which ended sourly for Son with the 31-year-old picking up an injury due an off-field incident with some of his teammates.

He will captain his nation for the first time since they sacked Jurgen Klinsmann last month.

Postecoglou has already spoken about his delight in seeing Porro called-up to his national side after an impressive season for Spurs.

It has been a sensational first season in the Premier League for both Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie with both nailing down starting spots under Postecoglou.

Although it has been a largely positive season for the left-back, Udogie did come under fire on the weekend for his display against Fulham.

Vicario, however, has been sensational all season and has received some big praise by one of his teammates for his efforts in Spurs training sessions.

Ben Davies, Brennan Johnson and Joe Rodon Wales fixtures

Although Ben Davies has not exactly been a regular in the Spurs side under Postecoglou this season, he has still made the Wales side.

The 30-year-old is, however, a regular for his country and will take up a senior role now Gareth Bale has retired.

Brennan Johnson has also made the squad after an impressive few months at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He has received some positive comments from his teammates with Son hailing the 22-year-old forward.

Finally, Spurs loanee Joe Rodon will be joining up with the duo from his parent club having spent the season with Leeds United.

The centre-back’s time at Spurs looks to be heading to a conclusion this summer with a bidding war expected for his signature.

Rodrigo Bentancur international schedule

One player who has had a lot to deal with this season has been midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.

He has even admitted that he is looking at the performances of Pape Matar Sarr as the benchmark of what Postecoglou demands.

Richarlison Brazil fixtures

Having only just returned from his knee issue, Richarlison will join up with the Brazil national side this week.

The 26-year-old did not feature from the start on the weekend against Fulham and only came on in the latter stages.

So it will be interesting to see how much action he plays for Brazil with Postecoglou clearly feeling he is not yet up to his usual levels.

He will, however, see some familiar faces in Maddison and Porro during his time away from Hotspur Way.

However, it was not the first start for Spurs that he would have hoped for and he has even been slammed by a Romanian pundit for choosing to join Spurs.

The 28-year-old’s future looks more and more likely to be to be away from Spurs ahead of the summer transfer window.

He has already changed agents with reports of interest coming from Serie A.

But for now, he is just leaving north London to play two friendlies for the Danish national side.

Giovani Lo Celso has not played as big of a role for Spurs this season, but he has still found himself called up to the national side.

The Spurs midfielder may have had a game to forget on the weekend, but Yves Bissouma will now represent his nation over the next week.

It has been a turbulent campaign for the 27-year-old who has been in and out of the side for various reasons.

He did contract malaria during the Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year so he will be hoping for a smoother international break this time around.

He has impressed so much that it is claimed some of the Netherland’s biggest clubs are now looking to sign him this summer.
