Google Pixel 8 knocked down to lowest price ever in spring sale

Google’s Pixel 8 has the biggest discount we’ve seen so far in Amazon’s Big Spring Sale in America. Plus, there are more impressive savings to be had on the 8 Pro and other Google devices in both the US and UK.

Right now, you can buy the flagship phone for just $499, down from the usual price of $699. That’s an incredible saving of $200, and better yet you don’t even have to be a Prime member to take advantage.

Get the Pixel 8 for $499

This offer is available on all three colours of the Pixel – Obsidian, Hazel and Rose – and on the 128GB version. With an outstanding camera set-up, the latest Android OS and nippy performance, the Pixel 8 is an excellent choice for Android users.

Amazon’s sale ends on 25 March, so this deal (and the ones below) will be available until then, or while stocks last.

The Pixel 8 is also discounted in the UK to £554.99, down from £699.99. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve seen (and is not available in black), but it’s still an excellent deal.

The better offer on UK shores is on the Pixel 8 Pro, which was voted Tech Advisor’s phone of the year in 2023 and remains my favourite phone I’ve ever reviewed.

This is down to a joint lowest price of £909, making for a 14% saving.

The Pixel 8 Pro is the most premium choice of the two Google phones. It comes in a bigger size than the regular 8, and packs even more impressive camera features that stand out in any lighting setting.

If your budget can’t stretch to either of these phones, then you can instead opt for the Pixel 7a, which has been slashed to $374 in the US and £329 in the UK (with a free 30W charging brick thrown in). Typically, the Pixel 7a costs $499/£499.

The Pixel 7a is our top mid-range phone pick, retaining those excellent Google cameras and seamless software.
