Reporter says 17-year-old Man City youngster is now training with England's senior team

A revelation has emerged about Manchester City wonderkid Kian Noble being in the senior camp for England.

The 17-year-old is another one of City’s future stars, as he is regarded as one of their most talented young centre-backs.

The Sky Blues have produced excellent young defenders in recent years, with names like Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Callum Doyle and Tosin Adarabioyo coming to mind.

Harwood-Bellis and Doyle are currently on loan at Stoke City and Leicester City respectively while Adarabioyo has thrived since leaving the Etihad Stadium to join Fulham in 2020.

While Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony tipped Jadel Katongo to be worth a whopping £100 million in two or three years.

As per BBC reporter Alex Howell on X, Kian Noble has been training with the England first-team under Gareth Southgate as he has been suspended from the Three Lions’ Under-17 game against Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

Kian Noble should embrace the opportunity to learn from the Three Lions centre-backs

Training with the England first-team, Kian Noble has a rare opportunity to learn how some of the best centre-backs in the country operate behind the scenes.

The likes of John Stones, Lewis Dunk, Ezri Konsa, Jarrad Branthwaite, Joe Gomez and Harry Maguire have been picked by Gareth Southgate as part of his 25-man squad to face Brazil and Belgium in their upcoming friendlies.

Not many teenagers have the chance to train and play alongside such big names.

In our view, Kian Noble should grab this opportunity with both hands by observing the decisions they make on the pitch, how they work on their game as well as their physiques while asking plenty of questions.

Doing so would undoubtedly help Noble improve as a player and accelerate his development.
