Ivan Toney says Arsenal have a player whose eye for a pass is just as good as Jorginho’s

Arsenal are one of the best passing teams in the Premier League.

Only Manchester City and Brighton have higher possession numbers than the Gunners, while the same can be said of their pass completion percentage.

Simply put, Arsenal are brilliant at moving the ball around, and as their goal numbers show this term, they’re also brilliant at being creative with their passing.

Indeed, finding those killer passes is a real skill that this Arsenal squad has, and Ivan Toney has singled out two of the Gunners’ players for praise in this regard.

Speaking to Stadium Astro on TikTok, Toney has been asked to build his so-called ultimate Premier League footballer made up of a number of attributes.

When it came to vision, Toney picked two Arsenal players in the shape of Martin Odegaard and Jorginho.

Martin Odegaard and Jorginho have the best vision in the Premier League

Toney spoke about the two midfielders.

“For vision, I’d say Jorginho or Odegaard, their vision is good,” Toney said.

Incredible

Having a midfielder with this kind of vision can completely transform the way your team plays, but having two players with this skill is incredible.

Mikel Arteta has been using Jorginho more and more recently, and it’s no coincidence that Arsenal’s form has improved massively in recent weeks as the Italian has played more and more in this side.

Jorginho and Odegaard both provide so much in terms of balance in this Arsenal side, not only can their incredible passing ability dictate the tempo of any game against any opponent, they can also find those final killer balls to completely dismantle an opposition backline.

Who knows? If rumours are to be believed, it could well be Toney who is getting on the end of those passes next season as he continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
