Accenture beats estimates with Q2 profit rise

Dublin-based global consultancy Accenture saw a year-on-year increase in Q2 earnings as it released its latest results on Thursday, beating analysts' estimates.

The company's earnings came in at $1.67 billion, or $2.63 per share. This compares with $1.52 billion, or $2.39 per share, in the second quarter of 2023.

Excluding items, Accenture reported adjusted earnings of $1.80 billion or $2.77 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter fell 0.1% to $15.80 billion from $15.81 billion last year.
