Iron Reign is a Spanish TV series that was added to Netflix on Friday, March 15th 2024, and, gaining popularity, has currently reached the No. 8 spot in the streamer’s ‘Top 10’ popular shows right now category.
Delivering subscribers a gripping crime thriller, Eduard Fernández plays Joaquín Manchado, the ruler of a sweeping drug empire who runs his operations from Barcelona’s seaport. Illegal cargo comes through the main terminal, but when an accident involving a huge shipment of cocaine raises alarm bells, it triggers a full-blown war between gangs.
Told over an eight-episode season that wraps with a superpacked 69-minute finale, Iron Reign is a tense, slickly written thrill ride that combines elements of some of the best shows in its genre.

If you’re into the likes of Narcos and Breaking Bad, be sure to add this to your watchlist and prioritize it too. I found that it started a little slowly, but I gradually found myself more and more invested over the first few episodes. By then, I was fully locked in.
