"My dream": £37m Crystal Palace target now admits he would love Premier League move

Crystal Palace have been handed a boost in their race to sign £37m target this summer as he admits his dream to play Premier League football.

As we head into the final stretch of the 2023/24 season, the transfer links are beginning to come thick and fast.

It’s set to be an exciting one for Crystal Palace, with it being the first window of Oliver Glasner‘s time at the club.

This leaves Dougie Freedman with a massive job to do as it’s expected there will be something of an overhaul in the squad with some big departures expected.

The one which seems likeliest at this stage is Michael Olise, for whom the club are already actively looking for replacements.

Now one of the favourites to replace him has admitted how he’d feel about moving to the Premier League.

Matias Soule admits he’d welcome Premier League move

The man Palace would best replace Olise with is the talented Frosinone right-winger Matias Soule.

Soule has been a target for Palace all season and the Eagles are even believed to have had a bid rejected in January for the 20-year-old Argentine.

Interest is expected to carry into the summer, and now Soule has admitted he would welcome a Premier League move which is a massive boost for Palace.

Speaking to DSports Radio he explained his feelings over Juventus and a move to England.

“I’d like to have a chance at Juventus, for sure. [But] My dream is to play in Premier League one day, it’s just a fantastic league.”

Crystal Palace must help Soule realise his dream

Should Olise go, no player is better equipped to replace him immediately than Soule as he continues to thrive for Frosinone.

10 goals and two assists this season in 27 games, while being the standout player in his team, Juventus will be delighted with his progress.

There is a chance the Serie A giants intend to actually keep Soule as he’s a player any club would love to have, but Palace should definitely at least give the option to the club and player with a bid this summer.

Signing Soule could even be an upgrade on Olise, with the 20-year-old being a supreme talent just waiting to explode into a top-level player.
