Tony Bellew is confident that Anthony Joshua would knock Tyson Fury out if the pair ever battle it out in a mega all-British affair.
It is the fight that all boxing fans want to see and has been on the cards since Fury returned to heavyweight action in 2018.
The pair have taken directions, with Fury remaining unbeaten following a trilogy with Deontay Wilder, while Joshua has tasted defeat on three occasions.
But the former Olympic champion has now won his last four bouts to put his career firmly back on track.
Promoter Eddie Hearn says Joshua is in line to face the winner of Fury's undisputed clash against Oleksandr Usyk in May.
And if Fury were to win, Bellew believes Joshua would have the upper hand over the Gypsy King.
Bellew told Spinbet: "I believe he faces the winner of Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk and if that is Fury who comes out as the winner and the undisputed champion, then Anthony Joshua knocks him out.
"I just think he will let his hands go and stop Fury. His power is ridiculous and he has once again proven how destructive he can be, it is scary."
Joshua has won four fights since last April but his latest was by far his most impressive.
He knocked out Francis Ngannou in the second round in Riyadh earlier this month after knocking the former MMA star down three times.
Bellew has been impressed by Joshua's comeback following back-to-back losses to Usyk in 2021 and 2022.
The former WBC cruiserweight champion said: "You have to say well done to AJ because he is the one going out there and knocking these guys out.
"The job he did with Otto Wallin was absolutely clinical, it was a brilliant performance from start to finish.
"The finish was ridiculous and then we cross over to the Francis Ngannou fight and everyone thinks he’s going to be in a world of trouble.
"I pretty much said it would be over within six rounds but what I did also say was that if it went past six rounds.
"Anthony Joshua is in a place now where the mental fragility that he’s had placed on his name has now gone.

"There is no mental side anymore. He doesn’t have much to think about because Ben Davison has taken care of most of that. He knows he’s fit and can go and let his hands go."
Fury recently played down talk of a fight with Joshua, insisting his bout with Usyk was bigger.
The 35-year-old told The Stomping Ground: "Me and Usyk is the biggest fight of the century. He's undefeated, I'm undefeated and no fight is bigger than that.
"I know people are trying to get their foot in the door to try and get a fight with me.
"But when I beat Usyk, I will be the undisputed champion and then I'll fight him again.
"Let's not forget, Usyk beat the other fella twice in a row. That puts him way down the ladder, nowhere near. Do you understand?
"Boxing is one of them things where you can go in there and knock them out the ring.
"How would I underestimate an absolute beast? He's an absolute killer. He's a bad man Usyk.
"How would you underestimate him to be looking at a guy who he's already beaten twice? I don't think you'd do that."
