Cambridge Nomads aiming to be crowned East League Division 3 North West champions after securing promotion

There was cause for celebration as Cambridge Nomads Hockey Club last weekend as the ladies’ first team secured promotion from the East Women’s League Division 3 North West.

A 3-0 home win at the expense of Kettering II ensured that the squad will be playing at a higher level next term.

Goals from Ali Billing and Ellie Martin established a 2-0 cushion at half-time, and Sarah Warren added a third in the second half to complete the job.
