In Ukraine, on the front line, there were 69 combat clashes over the past day. The enemy is actively attempting to advance on the Novopavlivka and Avdiivka directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
Overall, the enemy launched 88 missile strikes and 143 aerial attacks, conducting 92 shelling operations with reactive multiple rocket launchers on our troops' positions and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks.
During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, employing UAVs of the Shahed type. Data regarding the consequences are currently being clarified.
During the past day, populated areas in Semenivka in the Chernihiv region; Neskuchne, Oleksandrivka, Druzhba in the Sumy region; Otradne, Kolodiazne, Petropavlivka, Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Zhelanne, Novohrodivka, Berdychi, Novoselivka Persha, Semenivka, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Vuhledar, Staramayorske in the Donetsk region, and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region came under aerial attacks.
Approximately 140 populated areas of the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
Situation at fronts
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted three unsuccessful assaults on Defense Forces positions in the areas near the settlements of Synkivka, Tabaivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our troops repelled 7 enemy attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, the Luhansk region, and Spirne, the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through our defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klischiivka, in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske, the Donetsk region
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, and Urozhaine, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted 28 times to break through our troops' defenses.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked our defenders' positions 10 times in the areas of Staramaiorske, south of Novodarivka in the Donetsk region, and Robotyne, in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the past day, there were 2 assaults on our troops' positions.
Enemy losses
Throughout the day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
Units of the missile troops targeted 2 areas of enemy personnel concentration, 1 air defense system, and 4 important occupant facilities.
It's worth noting that the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 434,710 military personnel.
The Defense Forces are striving to maintain positions in the Kherson region.
