'I'm convinced'... Player Solskjaer released in 2021 now urges Juventus to sign 22-year-old Man Utd forward

Juventus have been advised to buy one Manchester United player this summer, by a former Old Trafford keeper.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his new footballing decision-makers at Old Trafford will have some big calls to make this summer.

With multiple players expected to be for sale, it’ll be a busy one which could see a rebuild occur for Erik ten Hag.

One player that Manchester United will be looking to sell is Mason Greenwood, whose value has skyrocketed since last summer after some very solid performances.

With known interest in La Liga, it now seems like Serie A is also a possible destination for Greenwood.

Juventus the latest side to join Mason Greenwood race

After such an impressive season at Getafe, the interest in Greenwood just continues to rise. Barcelona are the club known to be most interested at the moment and it’s thought talks have even taken place.

But now a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport has thrown Juventus’ hat into the proverbial ring for Greenwood’s signature.

The report from the Italian outlet suggests that signing Greenwood is more than just an idea for the Bianconeri.

This interest is no surprise given how Juventus’ attack has struggled this season and is in serious need of bolstering. The move has also been handed the seal of approval by former United man Sergio Romero.

Sergio Romero urges Juventus to sign Greenwood from Manchester United

Amid interest from Juventus, the former United goalkeeper who was released in 2021 by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed the 22-year-old forward to succeed in Turin.

As per Tutto Mercato, he shared his case for Greenwood to join Juventus.

“I’m convinced that Mason would do well in any big team, even Juventus. A Greenwood-Vlahovic-Chiesa trident would be super.”

Romero, who currently plays in Argentina for Boca Juniors, urged Juventus to make the move for Greenwood and this should say a lot about the interest this summer that United will have for the forward.

This could benefit Ineos as more interested parties could see a bidding war commence.
