The Football Association (FA) have now made an interesting decision on one Crystal Palace player.
It was Alan Nixon who provided the information.

FA make decision on Adam Wharton
Well, 2024 has already been quite the year for Adam Wharton.
The 19-year-old secured himself a £22m move to Crystal Palace from Blackburn Rovers back in January, before immediately becoming a huge hit in the Premier League.
Now – according to Nixon – Wharton is set to be promoted to the England U21 squad after just two appearances for the England U20 side.
The FA have clearly been left very impressed with the teenager’s efforts on the international scene.
Nixon wrote: “Crystal Palace’s new star Adam Wharton is set for a shock call up to the England U21 side.
“Midfield schemer Wharton played for the U20s against Poland on Friday but will be promoted instantly to the level above.”
The Crystal Palace No.20 has made 35 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring two goals while also providing three assists.
Great news for Crystal Palace
It may not seem like a big deal to some fans, but this is fantastic news for both Wharton and Crystal Palace.
There is some incredible talent in the England U21 squad, including Liverpool No.19 Harvey Elliott, Chelsea No.11 Noni Madueke and Hull City No.23 Jaden Philogene – who is believed to be a target for Dougie Freedman this summer.
Playing with footballers of this level will undoubtedly improve Wharton, which should see him become a more rounded player under Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park.
It speaks volumes that the FA already think the Blackburn-born maestro deserves a promotion after just two U20 games.
Wharton is clearly doing a lot right since making the move to south London – even impressing Glasner with his ability during the warm weather training camp in Marbella.
