Secret bond which can bring Harry and William together after Kate's cancer diagnosis

By Jamie Roberts

Prince Harry and Prince William can renew their brotherly bond following the shock news of Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis, according to an expert.

The feuding royals have not been on speaking terms after the Duke of Sussex publicly criticised members of the royal family in his memoir and in television interviews. However, the shocking health news surrounding Princess Kate could see the brothers finally reunited.

PR to the stars Jane Owen revealed the key advice she would give to Prince Harry \- and his wife Meghan Markle \- following Kate's announcement. "I would strongly advise them to make a strong public display of support," she said, before saying it is their "only choice" in her opinion.

In her announcement, Kate thanked the public for their messages of support of late and asked for privacy as her and her family come to terms with the diagnosis and continue the required treatment. Kate confirmed she started her ongoing treatment after a period of recuperation from her original abdominal surgery in January, and added: "William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family."

It's such privacy that Jane says can help heal the bond of the brothers. "They [Harry and Meghan] above everyone can relate to wanting privacy and not being allowed it," Jane continued. "This is a time for love. This is a time for family. This is a time for support and kindness. William will need his brother now more than ever and their children will need their aunt and uncle."

It's said Harry reached out to his brother and sister-in-law in private after the statement was aired worldwide. Royal reporter Richard Fitzwilliams said it would be clear Harry would be "devastated" by the news, but said time will tell whether he returns to the UK to visit Kate.

Her announcement came shortly after King Charles was also confirmed to have been diagnosed with cancer. Following that news, Harry made a quick return home to the UK to be by his dad's side. While they were only in together's company for around 30 minutes, Harry later hinted he could potentially return to the royal fold to help his dad.
