Explosions heard in Kryvyi Rih, some areas of city experienced power outages

Explosions and power outages were reported in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Suspilne.

The Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned about the threat of using Shahed combat drones near the city.

Shortly after this, several explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih, after which electricity was cut off in some areas of the city. There are also reports of water supply disruptions.

Massive strikes on energy facilities on March 22

On the morning of March 22, Russian forces launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine, using about 150 missiles and drones, mainly targeting energy infrastructure objects.

Among the targets was the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Station. In total, the aggressors fired 8 missiles at the station, with two of these strikes hitting directly. Ukrenergo called the attack on the energy sector on March 22 the largest since the beginning of the war.

As the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported, during the massive shelling in the region were 21 missiles hit. As a result of the shelling of Kharkiv, the city was completely de-energized. There were also problems with the water supply. Later, the Regional Military Administration announced that power outages could be introduced in Kharkiv and the region according to a schedule to stabilize the situation.
