Presidential elections in the USA

The presidential elections in the United States are scheduled for November 5, 2024. According to forecasts, the leading Democratic candidate will be the incumbent American leader, Joe Biden. In addition to Donald Trump, former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley participated in the race for Republicans but withdrew her candidacy in early March.

In Michigan, Trump and Biden emerged victorious in their primaries at the end of February. However, Biden faced a significant challenge as about 100,000 voters chose 'undecided' on the ballot, indicating their dissatisfaction with the candidates and Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

On March 3, it was reported that according to a survey by The New York Times and Siena College, Trump leads Biden by five points in a hypothetical rematch match.

On March 5, Biden and Trump won the victory in the nationwide party elections in most states. Despite their low popularity ratings, the candidates created conditions for a historical rematch in the general elections in November.

According to opinion poll results, at the end of March, Biden surpassed his competitor for the future elections for the first time since August last year.
