‘Ball player’: Vinicius Jr and Mohammed Kudus seriously impressed by ‘fantastic’ West Ham player yesterday

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus have praised one Hammers player after his latest display for his country.

A total of eight West Ham players have headed off on international duty over the past week and David Moyes will be hoping his key men return without any injury issues.

It isn’t exactly an ideal time for a break as we prepare for the business end of the campaign, particularly for the Hammers as they face a Europa League quarter-final against Bayer Leverkusen next month.

Nevertheless, two of West Ham’s most important players, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta, were in action at Wembley last night.

Bowen came off the bench for England in the second half while Paqueta started from the off for Brazil and got 73 minutes under his belt.

And it’s fair to say that Paqueta made quite the impression while he was on the pitch, which has led to praise from Vinicius Junior and Mohammed Kudus.

Vinicius and Kudus react to Paqueta’s latest display for Brazil

Paqueta was part of the Brazil side which picked up a 1-0 win over England at Wembley on Saturday evening.

The West Ham star caught the eye in midfield and was arguably Brazil’s best player on the night.

He took to Instagram after the win to express his delight after a brilliant performance in London.

“Grateful to God for this moment! Immensely proud to wear this shirt, always a privilege!

Congratulations to the group for their dedication and dedication, we move forward,” Paqueta wrote.

His Brazil teammates flocked beneath the post to congratulate him on a dominant display, which included the likes of Raphinha, Rodrygo, Bruno Guimaraes and Vinicius.

The Real Madrid star wrote “ball player,” while Kudus also left an emoji beneath the post.

Paqueta’s performance against England in numbers

Despite the fact that Brazil had the likes of Vinicius, Rodrygo and Raphinha in attack, Paqueta stole the show in midfield.

The ‘fantastic’ midfielder picked up the Man of the Match award on WhoScored.

Paqueta earned a 7.5 match rating and completed 95 per cent of his passes on the night. He also completed two dribbles and three tackles in what was an all-action display in midfield.
