Love Island's Toby Aromolaran hints at reason behind split from Georgia Steel with cryptic post

Love Island starToby Aromolaran has hinted at the reason behind his split from Georgia Steel with a cryptic post on social media.

The reality star, 25, who had dated his co-star Chloe Burrows, took to his Instagram page on Sunday, to share a candid snap of himself donning his Hashtag United FCfootball gear and in the caption wrote: "Don’t let anything steal your joy." It comes after Georgia S sensationally revealed to her fans earlier this week that she and her former beau had called time on their relationship, a month on from their exit from Love Island All-Stars.

The pair rekindled their romance on the ITV reality show earlier this year after first meeting on the spin-off series Love Island Games. Their connection got off to a rocky start after Toby suggested they pursue connections inside the villa since they failed to make theirs work the first time around. But after Toby confessed his feelings for Georgia, the pair became an item.

The duo managed to finish in fourth place during the show's final, which aired on ITV2 last month. However, it wasn't meant to be, as earlier this week Georgia revealed that they had gone their separate ways.

In a message to Instagram, Georgia penned: "After seeing the reports regarding my relationship with Toby I feel it's only right for me to be transparent and truthful with you all. It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I'm still trying to process it and come to terms with it all. They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter."

Despite this, Toby has yet to speak about to share his side of the story. Some curious fans nudged the star to share the reason behind their split, but the footballer showed no interest in the matter. On his Snapchat, one of his followers asked: "Anything to comment on Georgias post?" to which he responded: "Nah I'm cool."

It comes after Georgia Steel had quit social media last month after receiving nasty messages from haters. Her social media team were reduced to calling out "vile threats" across the platforms when she was on the show last month and shared a statement on her official Instagram account. "The last few episodes have been difficult for us to watch, but what's far worse is the hate Georgia is receiving online," it read.

"It is a TV show and everyone has their opinions, please remember it's not real life! Sending vile threats and nasty messages and comments is totally unacceptable. Trolling is not OK. Georgia is a daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend, and these hurtful comments will not only devastate her when she leaves the villa but also deeply hurt those around her."
