Russian drone attack on Odessa: Damage to energy infrastructure detected

Russian troops yesterday evening, on March 24, launched kamikaze drone attacks on Odesa and the region. As a result of the shelling, objects of the energy infrastructure were damaged, according to the Telegram channel of the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

"The enemy once again attacked the Odesa region with kamikaze drones. There is damage to the energy infrastructure, and part of Odesa is without electricity," said the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

According to him, all emergency services are working at the sites of the attacks.

Russian strikes on Odesa and the region

Russian forces have resumed mass attacks using kamikaze drones and missiles on Odesa and the region. On the night of March 22, the invaders launched a massive attack on Ukraine, releasing over 150 drones and missiles. Air defense forces shot down 55 Shahed drones and 37 missiles. The energy sector was targeted by the enemy.

It is noted that in Odesa, firefighters used Magurus Wolf R1 specialized equipment to extinguish a fire caused by the RF strike on March 22.

Furthermore, yesterday, March 24, in Odesa, following the Russian shelling, emergency power outage schedules were reintroduced. According to representatives of DTEK, due to increased electricity consumption during the evening peak hours, stabilization power outages are being implemented in Odesa under the orders of Ukrenergo.
