Details: Members of B4Ukraine (Business for Ukraine) expressed concern about the recent news of the removal of the NACP's International Sponsors of War list, as well as other critical databases relating to Western tools and components used by Russia to manufacture weapons.

Quote: "This list has become an important tool in our efforts to facilitate the exit of responsible business from Russia, thereby minimising Russia's ability to continue militarisation and cause further suffering to the Ukrainian people," the statement said.

Public organisations note that the list of war sponsors was especially useful for increasing reputational pressure on companies that continue to operate in Russia, emphasising their constant presence and tax contributions to Russia's militarised budget. It has been used in collaboration with over 180 multinational corporations and in discussions with several governments.

"We understand the intense diplomatic pressure that the Ukrainian government is under from its partners, including the G7 countries whose businesses are on the list. At the same time, rejecting this list now would be shortsighted and undermine two years of efforts to limit Russia's ability to wage this aggressive war."

The signatories also stated that this list has the potential to be used to create the most favourable structure for Ukraine in terms of future reparations and taxes on excess profits of companies that profit from the Ukrainian people's suffering.
