Following the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue near Moscow that left at least 137 dead, the Russian judiciary has ordered the pre-trial detention of three more suspects.

The order made by the Basmanny District Court in the Russian capital on Monday afternoon brings the total number of suspects in custody to seven, including the four suspected gunmen, Russian state news agecny TASS reported.

A total of 11 suspects were arrested after the attack on Friday evening.

The four suspected main perpetrators had previously appeared before the magistrate on Sunday evening. Injuries indicating torture by Russian security forces were visible on their bodies.

In the attack, four men opened fire on concert-goers before a rock concert at Crocus City Hall and then set the concert hall on fire. At least 137 people died in the attack, while 182 were injured.

The terrorist militia Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack on several occasions, but Russian authorities have yet to comment on that claim which Western security authorities and experts consider to be credible.

Without providing evidence, Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested Ukraine might be linked to the attack, accusations that Kiev has swiftly rejected.
