The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, has announced that the State High Court will observe an Easter vacation from Thursday, March 28th, 2024, to April 12th, 2024.
Justice Chibuzor-Amadi clarified that the vacation is in line with the provisions of Order 49, Rule 4b of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules.
He however noted that during the period, a designated ‘vacation judge’ will be available to handle urgent applications and matters.
The statement, issued by the Chief Registrar, David Ihua-Maduenyi of the Rivers State High Court, highlighted that normal court proceedings will resume on Monday, April 15th, 2024.
