How much Arsenal paid to sign every first-team squad player in the transfer market

Arsenal have fluttered millions in transfer markets to build their first-team squad, so here is how much the Gunners paid in fees for all of the players at Emirates Stadium.

The north London club have invested heavily to assemble a squad at manager Mikel Arteta’s disposal capable of possibly adding silverware to Arsenal’s trophy cabinet. Players moving to Emirates Stadium have also taken Arsenal’s wage bill to an incredible level in recent seasons.

Arteta has welcomed a host of world-class and elite stars to north London whilst building an Arsenal squad befitting of the Spaniard’s vision. But signing those players have seen the club spend some lofty fees in the transfer market, along with promoting from Arsenal’s academy.

So, with that in mind, Arsenal Insider has taken a look into how much Arsenal have spent to sign every first-team player in the senior squad at Emirates Stadium for the 2023/24 season.

Aaron Ramsdale – £24m

Arsenal signed Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United for an initial transfer fee of £24m, plus £6m in add-ons, in August 2021.

David Raya – £3m

Arsenal signed David Raya in an initial loan transfer from Brentford for £3m in July 2023. But the Gunners’ deal with the Bees includes an option to buy the goalkeeper for another £27m.

Karl Hein – Undisclosed

Arsenal signed Karl Hein from FC Nomme United for an undisclosed fee as an academy gem in July 2018. He joined at 17 years old before switching into the senior fold in October 2020.

Arthur Okonkwo – £0

James Hillson – £0
