Ninja reveals doctors found cancer in his foot

Streaming superstar Tyler “Ninja” Blevins shared some upsetting health news with fans earlier today.

On March 26, Ninja shared on X that doctors found cancer on his foot. He explained that he went to a dermatologist for an annual skin and mole check only to find out that the mole on the bottom of his foot needed to be removed due to having melanoma.

“But they are optimistic,” Ninja added, saying it was in an early stage.

In response, doctors biopsied another dark spot near his removed mole to check how far the melanoma had spread on his foot. Right now, Ninja and his wife are waiting to find out what the results of this second test will be.

“I’m grateful to have hope in finding this early, but please take this as a PSA to get skin checkups,” Ninja tweeted.

Does Ninja have cancer?

Ninja does not have cancer.

Right now, the melanoma is only confirmed in a small spot on his foot, which was already removed. Melanoma can spread but right now it’s unclear if it has spread or it was caught early enough to stop the spread completely.

Ninja will most likely update his fans once he gets the second test results.

In response to the health scare, fans and fellow creators provided an outpouring of support. Said Jack “CouRage” Dunlop: “Love you brother. Praying for you.”

“Hoping for the best. Lots of love to Jess for being proactive as well,” Ali “SypherPK” Hassan added.

Benjamin Lupo simply sent two hearts.

Is Ninja taking a break from streaming?

Ninja has not mentioned any break from his usual content creation schedule. For now, expect the usual from Ninja as he awaits more information.

In the past, Ninja has taken a break for mental health reasons.
