Millionaire TV star 'quite frankly doesn't care' about wife's co-stars' opinions

After Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marriage was thrown into question on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this past season, the Netflix star sets the record straight on where he stands with the show.

Mauricio and his daughters are finding further fame these days on their Netflix show, Buying Beverly Hills. But, before their current stardom, the family has appeared on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills since it began in 2010 – given how Kyle is one of the OGs.

Mauricio Umansky on RHOBH

For the past 14 years, Kyle, Mauricio, and their family have appeared on RHOBH.

Speaking to E! News this March, Alexia Umansky, 27, explained how she’s been starring on reality TV since she was 13 years old. She said: “Because I grew up with it, it kind of just feels like second nature.”

She added how she came to “love the cast and the crew” of both Buying Beverly Hills and RHOBH.

However, her dad didn’t appear to have the same take.

RHOBH is a ‘hard show to relive’

When he was asked if he watches much of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Mauricio explained he finds the Bravo show “hard to watch.”

While he says he’d “definitely watch it for Kyle,” he adds how the scenes of season 13 covered “difficult moments in his life.”

He added: “I could probably watch it now, to be honest with you. But, while I was living this and going through all the difficulties of a separation and all of those emotions, to have to watch it… and then to have to watch these women that, quite frankly, I don’t care too much about, have opinions about me, I just didn’t want to watch it.”

Mau and Kyle’s daughters admitted they “didn’t watch” the RHOBH reunion. Alexia said she doesn’t feel “ready” to watch it at “this point in her life” adding: “I know I will one day.”

The sisters agreed it’s “hard to watch their mom…” adding: “It’s not easy, we’re very protective of our mom.”
