Rodrygo has revealed that Manchester City have a superstar in their ranks who is the best player he has faced in his career.
Such a compliment could apply to several of City’s players, who have made an impact against Real Madrid in recent years.
A name that would instantly spring to mind is Bernardo Silva, who has scored three goals in his last four appearances against Los Blancos.
However, the Real Madrid winger did not name the Portuguese international.

Rodrygo, however, did mention Kevin De Bruyne, who has also caused mayhem against the Spanish giants in recent seasons.
“[Kevin] De Bruyne because he is very intelligent and sees some things that no one else does”, he told GOAL [via TikTok].
In the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals between both sides during the 2021/2022 season, the £54.5 million man scored the opener while playing the pass that led to Gabriel Jesus’ strike.
During the 2019/2020 campaign as well, De Bruyne assisted Jesus’ equaliser and scored the winning penalty in the first leg of the Round of 16 tie.
While last season, the midfield maestro famously scored a belter of a leveller at the Santiago Bernabeu and assisted Bernardo Silva as well as Manuel Akanji’s goals.
As a result, one can understand why Rodrygo holds Kevin De Bruyne in such high regard.
