Jude Bellingham and John Terry send message to Arsenal star Declan Rice after England feat

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham and Chelsea legend John Terry both just sent a message to Declan Rice after the Arsenal man reached a major career milestone.

Arsenal ace Declan Rice has had a season to remember so far.

At club level, Rice has been a revelation this season. In the most recent summer transfer window, the 25-year-old became the Gunners’ record signing, as they splashed out £105 million to prise him away from West Ham United. He has since been in such good form for the north London outfit that Arsenal fans believe that Rice has now already lived up to his hefty price tag.

Rice has grown and developed as a player under the guidance of Mikel Arteta. He has been handed plenty of responsibility in the middle of the park for Arsenal, and has been utilised in a more advanced position on the pitch than ever before. Rice has enjoyed his most successful campaign in front of goal in his career so far.

Declan Rice becomes a leader for Arsenal and England

The England star has also made progress on the international stage. On Tuesday evening he represented the Three Lions for the 50th time in his career, and also wore the captain’s armband for the first time as Gareth Southgate’s side battled to a 2-2 draw against Belgium in a friendly.

Of course, he is no stranger to leadership roles. Arteta has already tipped Rice to be a future Arsenal captain, and he was the West Ham skipper prior to making the switch to the Emirates Stadium. It will still have been a great honour for him to lead his country out for the first time at Wembley Stadium, though.

In the wake of reaching this landmark moment in his career, Rice took to Instagram. He posted, “Captaining my country & 50th cap. Dreams.”

Jude Bellingham then responded to this statement with a message that read, “Congratulations brother, always a pleasure.”

The duo are all but guaranteed to start together in the England midfield unit at this summer’s EUROs tournament.

Chelsea icon John Terry also sent his “Congratulations” to Rice.
