Asda store in Greenhithe near Dartford sees police appeal launched after teenager arrested

An investigation is under way after a boy fell into a trolley at a supermarket.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted assault and affray at Asda in Greenhithe.

Officers were called to the shop at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 9.

It is reported a teenage boy was involved in an altercation with another boy known to him.

The suspect then left the scene buth was arrested shortly afterwards.

Following inquiries, investigators are now keen to identify and speak to two potential witnesses in the store at the time.

It is believed one of the boys fell into a woman’s trolley, while another person left the site after giving information to a member of staff.
