Russians fire missiles and drones at Ukraine overnight: Air defense destroys 26 targets

"On the night of March 28, 2024, the enemy launched an air strike on Ukraine using three Kh-22 cruise missiles and a Kh-31P anti-radar missile (from the Black Sea), an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile (Donetsk region) and 28 Shahed-136/131 attack drones (launch area - Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Cape Chauda - Crimea)," the Ukrainian Air Force says in a statement.

The anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare equipment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.

In total, the air defense forces destroyed 26 Shahed-136/131 attack drones in Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
