Ukrainian PM outlines dialogue topics with Polish counterpart during visit to Poland

The Ukrainian delegation has already arrived for intergovernmental consultations in Warsaw on March 28. The main topics of the dialog between the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland have been announced, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"We are starting our visit to Poland with a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk," he says.

According to the head of the Ukrainian government, the main issues of the meeting will be coordinated before the joint meeting of the governments.

"We will talk about weapons for Ukraine, the situation on the border of our countries, trade and infrastructure development. We are looking forward to a pragmatic and constructive dialog and the development of effective solutions," Shmyhal adds.

Meeting between Shmyhal and Tusk

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet in Warsaw today, March 28. They will discuss the situation at the border and other issues.

Polish farmers continue to block checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, in particular, by not letting trucks with Ukrainian agricultural products through. As of March 27, Polish farmers continue to block three directions. These are the Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska, and Uhryniv checkpoints. Before that, 6 out of 9 checkpoints on the border with Ukraine were blocked.
