The haunted house the RHOBH cast stayed in during their Barcelona, Spain trip, is certainly not for the faint-hearted. Kyle Richards told niece, Paris Hilton, that “weird things would happen”.
Vila Catalina was the Spanish home where The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast stayed during season 13, and if you hate spooky things, you may not want to stay there… Kyle Richards definitely wouldn’t!
Inside the RHOBH haunted house
When the RHOBH cast headed to Barcelona for a Spain trip, they stayed at a haunted house. The owner had some news to share, “The previous owners told us that there are some little people.”
“Super friendly. But I’ve never seen them. But don’t be worried at all,” she added. Kyle noted she planned to be a little more cautious as she walked around. “In a house like this, you don’t open vents,” she said.
Kyle added, “You don’t go into attics or basements.” Garcelle agreed, noting, “There [are] doors that look like they shouldn’t be opened.” The haunted house on RHOBH is set in the Penedés Wine region.
Kyle Richards was ‘locked inside room’
Kyle Richards told her niece, Paris Hilton, that she was “locked inside a room” at the Villa Catalina Airbnb. She said on Paris’ podcast, “The Spanish house we stayed in, that house is haunted, I’m not even kidding.”
“I would lock the door and the handle fell off, and I was locked in there,” she said, telling Paris how she “doesn’t like to be negative about someone’s business and was really cautious about what they said.”
“I was like, ‘Absolutely not’. We would laugh about it because we didn’t know what else to do. It was also like, ‘Why are we in this place?’ 13 years and this is where we end up,” Kyle added.
Chains rattling and floors creaking
Kyle spoke of how a producer had a video of “chains rattling,” which she admits “sounds like a cliché”. She also said how “weird things would happen with her light” – and it wasn’t just Kyle who found it creepy.
Garcelle Beauvais also felt weirded out and said, “It’s one o’clock in the morning, and I am scared out of my mind. I’m even scared to go to Sutton’s room, but I’m going anyway. So, I am tiptoeing around.”
“The floors are creaky. I know there’s a room with a crib in it. I don’t want to see it, because I don’t know who’s in the crib.” Erika Jayne urged them to “embrace it” but Annemarie wanted the least haunted room.
