Arsenal’s No.41 has been busy on the social media platform over the international break, calling Ivan Toney his “brother” after England’s 2-2 draw against Belgium, which got fans talking amid transfer links to the Brentford striker.

Well, Arsenal have now managed to secure the future of Ethan Nwaneri.
The precocious 17-year-old has signed his first professional contract with the Gunners after a rapid rise through the youth ranks at Hale End.
That ascent eventually saw Nwaneri come off the bench during Arsenal’s 3-0 Premier League win over Brentford back in September 2022.
In doing so, the Arsenal No.63 became the youngest player to ever appear in a top-flight clash in English football, and also ensured the teenager went down in history as the youngest person ever to represent the Gunners at senior level.
After hearing the news, Rice wrote: “You deserve it Eth! Some player and an even better person❤️”
A lovely message from the England international – who has needed hardly any time to become a leader at the Emirates Stadium, following that club record £105m move from West Ham back in July.
Ethan Nwaneri contract is a relief
Nwaneri’s contract comes as a huge relief, as there have been several doubts about the England U17 international’s future at Arsenal.
Fabrizio Romano claimed back in October that Arsenal very nearly lost the Londoner on a free transfer last summer.
