Cesc Fabregas has just made an exciting prediction about Manchester City vs Arsenal

Arsenal go to the Etihad to take on Manchester City on Sunday, and Cesc Fabregas has revealed his prediction for the game.

The Gunners have been the best team in the Premier League this season. We are currently on top of the table, and a win on Sunday will push us four points ahead of Pep Guardiola‘s side.

That would give Arsenal an enormous boost ahead of the business end of the season, and the fact that we have beaten them already this term is proof that we can do it again.

Cesc Fabregas predicts who will win Manchester City vs Arsenal

Many people think the game between Manchester City and Arsenal on Sunday will decide who will win the Premier League title this campaign.

The two sides fought hard for the title last term. We were ahead of them for over two-thirds of the season, but William Saliba‘s injury cost us the chance to go all the way.

Arsenal are ahead of Manchester City in the table again, but only by a point. That makes the game on Sunday so important for us in the title race.

Cesc Fabregas has been speaking about the big game at the Etihad on Sunday.

The former Arsenal captain has played in some massive fixtures over the course of his career, and he knows what it takes to win such games.

Having watched both Arsenal and Manchester City this season, Fabregas has predicted the result of the game, and we have a feeling it will excite Gooners.

Speaking on the Planet Premier League podcast, Fabregas said: “I think Arsenal have grown so much in the last year with these new two or three additions… they look more solid, they look more mature, their ability to counter-attack, to keep the ball, to defend high, to defend deep. They control a lot of variants now and they are a very, very complete team.

“They know what it takes to beat Man City because they have done that already so it will be a really interesting game and, definitely, it will be a big challenge for Arsenal, especially to see where they are at this point. But I think they will surprise people because they are a step higher than everybody thinks.”

When pressed for a prediction, Fabregas said: “I think realistically, and I’m just saying based on what I see and what I feel and the perception that I have from both teams, and the news coming out from injuries and doubts… what I have in my mind is 1-2 to The Arsenal.”

Mikel Arteta could be forced to make three changes for Manchester City vs Arsenal

Arsenal will have to be at their best to beat Manchester City on Sunday, but we have a few injury issues going into the game.

Mikel Arteta confirmed in his press conference today that three key players have not trained yet and are doubts for the clash at the Etihad – Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes.

We really hope all three of them will be available, but if they are ruled out, Arteta will have to make some changes to replace them.

Leandro Trossard will likely start on the left, Gabriel Jesus on the right and Jakub Kiwior will have to play in the heart of the defence with Oleksandr Zinchenko replacing him at left-back.
