"Medical staff fought for his life until the very end," Lysak said.

"They did everything possible. But the injuries turned out to be too severe, unfortunately. Sincere condolences to the family of the deceased."

A 47-year-old man remains hospitalized in moderate condition, while the other injured from that night are currently recuperating at home, he said.

Russia launched 99 drones and missiles on March 28 targeting power grid nodes in western and central Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, air defenses intercepted 84 enemy targets, including 58 kamikaze drones and 26 missiles.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration said that Russia attacked critical infrastructure in Dnipro and the Oblast, damaging several objects. A total of 24 missiles and drones were shot down over the Oblast by air defense forces, said Lysak. Five people were injured in Kamianske. Among them was a five-year-old girl.
