Jude Bellingham sends six-word message

The streak is finally over. Sunderland ended their seven-match winless run on Good Friday as they overcame Cardiff 2-0 in Wales.

It had been a long time coming for many of the Black Cats faithful as the club finally got its first win since sacking Michael Beale. One man who was fundamental to the victory was Jobe Bellingham.

Playing as a striker, the youngster netted Sunderland’s second to help secure the win. After the game, England international Jude Bellingham congratulated the team stating they are a ‘joy to watch’ after ending their winless run.

Sunderland already possess Jack Clarke’s heir

Despite their troubles this season, one man who has stood out all campaign is Clarke. The attacker has dragged Sunderland to plenty of wins this season and has become a real fan favourite at the Stadium of Light.

So far this campaign, he has managed 15 goals and four assists despite being out with an injury of late. However, with the club set to stay in the Championship, Clarke has widely been expected to leave in the summer with Lazio eyeing his signature.

Yet, the club have already been tipped to have Clarke’s heir through Romaine Mundle.

Speaking on Mundle, a recent thread on X highlighted the potential the winger has. After signing for Sunderland in January, it is clear that the 20-year-old has potential.

While this may be a far-fetched opinion you cannot argue that he could well end up becoming a top player.

Journalist Michael Graham also held this opinion as he back Mundle to become a ‘top Championship player’ in just 18 months time.
