‘Deal with it’: TalkSPORT pundit slams three Everton players after what they did vs Bournemouth yesterday

Everton ended yesterday’s match in typical Everton fashion, conceding a late own goal on the road after having seemed to snatch a late point which they didn’t really deserve.

However, Sean Dyche would not have cared, and despite it extending their winless run, one point is surely better than none.

He could not have possibly foreseen the calamity which was just about to occur though, with a hopeful cross from the hosts inexplicably ending up in the back of the Toffees net, courtesy of Seamus Coleman.

Head in his hands, the Republic of Ireland international was left dismayed at such a torrid ending to his return to the side following injury.

However, as one pundit would detail, he was not alone in creating this catastrophe.

Jamie O’Hara left furious with three Everton players

Reacting to fans’ post-match thoughts, Jamie O’Hara and Gabby Agbonlahor welcomed one Everton fan, likely expecting furious fireworks after yet another loss.

However, it is quite easy to forget just how long-running this torrid streak extends back, and all the passion and interest Evertonians once had has long been drained.

Now, most fans would admit to a newfound level of apathy felt towards their football club, simply left with an empty void where such unrelenting support once was.

So, when a measured fan came on to brand Coleman’s late own goal ‘unlucky’, O’Hara sought to whip up a frenzy to a fan who had actually just left the line anyway.

Speaking live on talkSPORT just yesterday (30/03, 17:55 pm), he noted: ‘You say unlucky but there’s three players there: Pickford, Coleman and Branthwaite or someone. Come on. Deal with it. You’re Premier League footballer players, communication.

‘You say unlucky, it’s in the six-yard box, there’s no one there. That can’t end up in the back of the net. That can’t end up in the back of the net!’

Sean Dyche needs to end his stubborn streak

Whilst it might be hard to change what he believes to be a formula that will soon yield results, the ones they continue to get should be sending alarm bells for Dyche.

After all, they have failed to win a Premier League game in over 100 days now, a run that stretches back deep into December.

This is a fanbase unwavering in their support for the club, but tired of consistently terrible performances that do little to inspire Evertonians.

Surely, even if it is just for a match or two, he must be considering some kind of change to give his outfit some much-needed fresh impetus and perhaps confuse the opposition.

Facing Everton must be the easiest task in the division at the moment, as they are so woefully predictable, and taking the lead marks a death sentence for the Toffees.

Although it is hugely out of character, Dyche might have to make a personal sacrifice, end his stubborn streak, and see whether it can reap some different results after such an enduring winless run.
