15-year-old wonderkid scores for Man Utd U21s during friendly vs Monaco

Manchester United will be excited as another Carrington wonderkid has shone brightly during a friendly on Saturday.

The conveyor belt at Carrington just continues to churn out phenomenal talents for Manchester United.

Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are the most recent success stories of players making in at a first-team level.

But some players are yet to enter the first team picture that are leaving fans very excited.

Shea Lacey, Harry Amass and Mantato Bendito are three of the current academy stars that fans predict could become absolute stars.

But now a 15-year-old that we all knew had talent, has proven it at U21 level during a friendly against Monaco’s B team.

Amir Ibragimov scores vs Monaco

Playing a U21 friendly game, 15-year-old Amir Ibragimov shined brightly as he scored which he confirmed on his Instagram story.

His goal was the first of the game for United in what was a 2-1 win for the U21s against the famously impressive Monaco B.

Joining Ibragimov on the scoresheet was Mantato who is another that fans are very excited by.

United just seem to be in a real golden moment in the academy with player after player looking a top prospect.

While we know not all will make it here, Ibragimov is one we are quite optimistic about.

What is going on with Ibragimov at Manchester United?

Ibragimov at just 15, is a player we expect to really make a jump next season into regular U18 and U21 minutes.

He’s a part of the generation below the current U18 side which club insiders are extremely excited by.

The England youth star has already played for the U21s, and actually played for both the U18s and U21s in one day back in January.

He’s definitely one to keep an eye on over the next year as we predict he’ll begin to make similar waves that Amass has done this season.
