Ukrainian General Staff reports on targets hit during Russian nighttime attack

Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory early this morning, April 1, using combat drones of the Shahed type. Air Defense Forces shot down two drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"During the night, Russian occupiers again attacked Ukraine, using 3 UAVs of the Shahed type," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

It is reported that two combat drones were destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the threat of the use of combat drones had been announced for the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

Russian strike on the night of March 30 to 31

In the past week, Russians have intensified attacks using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. In Kyiv and several regions, air raid sirens were sounded on the evening of March 30 due to the ballistic threat. Several times during the night, sirens were heard in the capital and most regions.

It is known that last night, Russians launched missiles from strategic bombers. Enemy missiles reached Western Ukraine. The Air Force reported the movement of missiles toward Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

It is emphasized that Air Defense Forces shot down 18 enemy targets: nine X-101/X-555 missiles and nine Shahed drones. Air defense missile units and fighter aircraft of the Air Force, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare means of the Defense Forces were involved in repelling the attack.
