Premier League legend Alan Shearer has insisted that two Manchester United stars would annoy the hell out of him if he were playing alongside them in his career.
Manchester United have endured a tough season so far and the Red Devils suffered another major setback on Saturday after their 1-1 draw against Brentford.
Mason Mount came off the bench and broke the deadlock deep in injury time, with United on the verge of snatching all three Premier League points.
However, Thomas Frank’s men responded within minutes and Kristoffer Ajer cancelled out Mason Mount’s opener with a crucial equaliser against United.
United walked away with a point from the Premier League tie after delivering an underwhelming performance in their first match since the international break.
Erik ten Hag’s hopes of securing a Premier League top-four finish seem all but certain to be over after United’s costly performance against Brentford.
United are sixth in the Premier League table and are eight points behind fifth-place Tottenham and 11 points behind fourth-place Aston Villa in the race for top four.
Despite Aston Villa having played one more match than United, the Red Devils face both Chelsea and Liverpool in their tough upcoming league fixtures.

Shearer calls out two Man Utd stars
Alan Shearer, who retired from football in 2006, had a prolific playing career in the Premier League and is widely regarded as one of the best strikers of all time.
The 53-year-old Premier League legend also caught the eye of Manchester United icon Sir Alex Ferguson, who failed in his efforts to bring Shearer to Old Trafford.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Shearer was asked about his biggest pet hate and the Newcastle legend didn’t hold back with his admission.
The former England striker admitted that he did not like wingers who would cut in on their other foot and have a shot rather than cross the ball into the box.
Shearer then went on to say that United wingers Antony and Alejandro Garnacho are major culprits of the aforementioned habit on the pitch.
“Wingers cutting inside on their other foot and having a shot and not crossing it,” he said.
“That would do my nut in playing for Man United with those two, Antony and Garnacho, who keep doing that all the time.”
Richards and Lineker name their biggest pet hates
Unlike Shearer, The Rest Is Football co-hosts Micah Richards and Gary Lineker did not call out any United stars over their pet hates on the football pitch.
Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards revealed his biggest frustration came with midfielders and some of their questionable decision-making abilities at times.
“When midfielders have the chance to play forward but play backwards just to keep their pass completion up,” he said.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker, on the other hand, insisted that a pet hate for him was the theatrics of players when they are “slightly touched” on the ankle.
“I think mine is the squealing when players get slightly touched on their ankle and they go down like they’ve been shot by a sniper,” he said.
