FAU guard Nick Boyd intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced via social media on Monday afternoon. A three-year player for the program, Boyd is not ruling out a return to Boca Raton despite exploring his options.

“I want to thank God for the opportunity to play at FAU and the incredible people I’ve met along the way,” Boyd said in a statement. “The past three seasons have been amazing and have taught me a lot. To the coaching staff, I want to thank you guys for the support and all of the memories. To my teammates, we will have a brotherhood for life. To the fans, you helped us create lifelong memories that I will cherish forever. Lastly to my family, I want to thank you guys for everything! I love you guys.

“What that being said I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining and with consideration of returning to FAU.”
