A murder investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in West London on Monday, the Metropolitan Police have said.
Officers were called following a disturbance on West Kensington's Comeragh Road at 10.17pm last night (April 1), where a 21-year-old was found with a gunshot wound.
Despite receiving treatment from paramedics, the man died at the scene just before 11pm.
A crime scene remains in place on the street, but no arrests have yet been made, the Met said.
The victim's next of kin have been informed, with a post-mortem examination set to take place.
A local resident said she heard a "loud gunshot" at 10.15pm, with "lots of police and ambulance" arriving at Comeragh Road 15 minutes later.
She continued: "I think someone was [hurt] sadly - I heard someone screaming for an ambulance as the police arrived.
"Police have been going door to door speaking to the neighbours to see if they saw anything."
