Manager Ash Taylor feels his March Town squad are in a great place heading into Saturday's home clash against Easington Sports.
The Hares continue to tick all the right boxes for their boss after confirming their place in the United Counties League Premier South play-offs with a 2-1 win at Yaxley on Easter Monday.
Taylor's side are currently in fourth spot in the league table, just three points behind Racing Club Warwick, who they host next weekend, in third.
Monday's win gave the Hares a fourth successive win and Taylor said: “The morale is really high at the minute. I had the feeling before today that we were going to win and that's a really good feeling to have.
"We're playing well, there's a clear identity of how we want to play and the lads are buying into it. It's about having an identity and understanding of how we want to play, especially when you see it working on the pitch.
"The lads are in a great place, they're confident but we have to keep our feet on the floor as we've got some tough games and difficult opponents ahead of us.
"As for now, in terms of being in form and playing well, we are ticking all the right boxes."
Taylor was full of praise for the large contingent of travelling supporters.
"It's quite a rarity to see a team with the following we have at this level of football. We get that support because of the way we do things and they can relate the team to the football club, which we've been building and building.
"Scoring two goals in the first half with all those fans behind the goal is a great feeling and we've got to keep using that to our advantage."
First-half goals from Matt Foy and Joe Rider were enough for victory against The Cuckoos, as March look to play Step 4 football for the first time in the club's history.
Ashton Haslam halved the deficit for the home side in the dying minutes of the game from the penalty spot.
"The scoreline should have been more than 2-1 as we've missed so many chances today, which is a massive positive," admitted Taylor.
"The first goal was a good bit of class and something we've been working on in the training pitch and it was good to see that come to fruition.
"I thought it was a really well-timed run and we've put the ball on a plate for Joe to score.
"Matty Foy is in great form right now, as I said last week, and he's just full of confidence and it was a good finish from him, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
"We scored two good goals and it should have been more but the positive for me is that we're creating those opportunities and the goals will come.
"We've probably created more chances today than what we did last Tuesday." (4-0 win at Eynesbury).
After the visit of Easington Sports at the weekend, March travel to Bugbrooke St Michaels in a rearranged game on Tuesday night.
