Ange Postecoglou could now start 'excellent' 22-year-old for Tottenham tonight, he's truly 'got everything' - opinion

Tottenham Hotspur will look to secure a second Premier League win in a row on Tuesday night amid a quick turnaround in games.

On Saturday, Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs came from behind to record a 2-1 win over Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The result kept Spurs hot on the heels of fourth-placed Aston Villa, and with the Lilywhites also boasting a game in hand, they’ll fancy their chances.

On Tuesday night, Tottenham will contest a London derby away at West Ham, a team whose league form has deserted them in recent weeks.

The Hammers were on the receiving end of a 4-3 loss at Newcastle last week, and also drew against Villa and Burnley before the international break.

Postecoglou has no fresh injury concerns as Spurs prepare to play away at West Ham, and he has some good selection headaches too.

For instance, the Tottenham boss needs to decide who will be part of his starting front line for the trip to east London.

Who could Ange Postecoglou start in attack for Tottenham at West Ham?

Richarlison made a cameo against Luton and came through unscathed, but Brennan Johnson really staked a claim for a start with his game-changing outing.

The 22-year-old came on after the interval and, within six minutes, forced an own goal from Issa Kabore thanks to his cross into the box.

Although that contribution didn’t count as an assist, Johnson did go on to add to his season’s assist tally when he poked Timo Werner’s cross back for Son Heung-min to score.

Johnson also should’ve had a goal with the effort that was deemed not to have gone fully over the line, and he also weighed in with several more chance-creating deliveries for his teammates.

The Wales international needed a little time to properly get up to speed following his £47.5million move from Nottingham Forest, but now he’s certainly firing on all cylinders.

Johnson has been described as “excellent” and as a player who’s “got everything“. It’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop in the coming years.

As for Tottenham’s trip to West Ham, a front three of Werner, Son and Johnson seems like the best shout. Let’s see what happens come 7:15pm when the team news come out.
