Ukraine’s NATO path to be discussed at Washington Summit — Secretary Blinken

The NATO summit in Washington is scheduled for July 9-11.

“As the Alliance declared in Vilnius [in 2023], Ukraine will be a member of NATO,” Blinken affirmed.

“The question for us is having a solid and clear roadmap to achieve this goal.”

Blinken said that the summit, dedicated to NATO’s 75th anniversary, will focus on the development of this roadmap. According to the secretary, it will serve as a "necessary bridge" to facilitate Ukraine's eventual membership.
