Denmark is working on a new military aid package to strengthen Ukraine's defense, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

"I began my day at NATO HQ in Brussels by meeting my Danish colleague and friend Lars Løkke Rasmussen," Kuleba writes.

The officials discussed military support for Ukraine. They also raised the issue of investment in Ukraine, reconstruction, and other assistance.

"We discussed Ukraine’s priority needs in military aid, particularly air defense systems and missiles. I am also pleased that Denmark is working on a new military aid package to bolster our defense," Kuleba says.

Denmark's assistance to Ukraine

Back in February of this year, Danish Prime Minister Matt Frederiksen said that her country had decided to provide Ukraine with all its artillery.

She also called on Western countries to provide Ukrainian defenders with weapons, ammunition, and air defense systems that they are not using yet.

In March, Denmark announced another package of military aid to Ukraine worth $330 million. It included Caesar self-propelled artillery systems.
