A crash involving a motorbike has closed an A-road in both directions, sparking long queues.
Police are diverting traffic off A28 Ashford Road in Tenterden following the incident between the junctions for Turners Avenue and Oaks Road.
A car is also involved in the incident, and officers are diverting traffic via Oaks Road.
KCC Highways has warned motorists to expect delays.
Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
