The Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton hasn’t kept her body surgery a secret. In fact, she’s been incredibly open about how she “feels great” post-operation – but fans seem to disagree.
Mia Thornton undergoes liposuction
Mia has undergone liposuction and “feels great” post-operation. She hopped on her Instagram Stories on April 2 to share more details about her surgery “post-op[eration],” three days after her appointment.
“I feel great!” she shared, adding how she was wearing her “Faja,” or a bodysuit shaper which “tuck[s] in” the areas on which she had liposuction. The operation at The Glow Plastic Surgery took “a few hours”.
She said, “After check-in I met with The Surgeon, The Anesthesiologist, the Nurse, and a few other medical professionals who all ensured I felt comfortable and safe and that I was in great care!”
RHOP fans discuss Mia before surgery
Following Mia’s liposuction, RHOP fans are discussing how good she looked before spending thousands on the procedure. “This was the best Mia has ever looked,” a Reddit fan wrote, sharing an old screenshot.
They wrote, “I know the heavy makeup is her thing but i couldn’t get over how good this clean makeup looked on her during her kitchen confrontation with Gordon, she looked Kardashian-like to me.”
Another commented, “I think less makeup looks better on her, she looks very fresh on here,” while a fellow viewer agreed, “I lovvveeeeeeeeeeeeee her look here. One thousand percent agree with you.”
Surgery comes amid marriage separation
Mia says her “waist is doing what it should be doing” as she goes through a separation from estranged husband, Gordon. She has since gone Instagram-official with her new boyfriend.
She claimed her ex “emptied her bank account” on the Peacock show, while on season 8, spisode 18, and Gordon accused Mia of having an affair with her high school sweetheart, Incognito, during their marriage.
Mia shared during the reunion that she and Incognito were “high school sweethearts” and they “kept in touch here and there, but nothing serious,” noting, “There was one occasion we did rekindle the flame.”
